CFM Test & Balance Corporation is an independent, certified test and balance organization established in 1972.  We have earned a reputation as a leader in the industry.  Our extensive experience includes a wide variety of project types including laboratories, vivariums, clean rooms, hospitals, schools, office buildings and high-end residences.

 

CFM Test & Balance is one of the few firms in the country to be certified by all three certification agencies:

  • The Associated Air Balance Council (AABC)

  • National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB)

  • The Testing, Adjusting and Balancing Bureau (TABB)

This commitment to certification allows our customers the unique ability to meet the test and balance agency qualification requirements of any project specification.


As the president, Bob Wade oversees all projects to ensure thorough attention to detail and procedures. He has been with the company since 1981, has strong analytical and trouble-shooting abilities and is a respected expert in the field. Bob is also a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers, Inc. (ASHRAE). and has earned the following certifications:

  • Test and Balance Engineer (AABC)
  • Test and Balance Supervisor (NEBB)
  • Test and Balance Supervisor (TABB)
  • Sound and Vibration Engineer (TABB)
The company's certified technicians are trained using the latest techniques and equipment.   Our engineers and technicians are all members in good standing with the Sheet Metal Workers International Association and have received OSHA occupational safety and health training. 

CFM Test & Balance uses the most accurate, state-of-the-art instrumentation, maintaining National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) traceable calibration certificates on all meters.
